Comments: My aunt up in Maine passed away in September of 2012 and I was the executor of her estate. One of the things I inherited was an antique telephone. It is a wall telephone with the inscription "S. H. Couch Company, Boston, Mass." It has a hand crank on the right side, the mouthpiece is adjustable up and down, there is a little desk-like adjustable wooden surface for taking notes below the mouthpiece.
It is made of oak I believe and weighs around 20 or 25 pounds. Can anyone tell me how much it is worth for insurance purposes? Thank you for your time to respond.

Comments: I've come across an old Western Electric Trimline wall mount phone, yellow in color, metal base, engraved print & a sticker on base that reads... Property of Southwestern Bell NOT FOR SALE It also has a white sticker on the base with AC2P RB1 1.
My question to yall is what would this phone be worth, either to a collector or to common everyday Joe Public and would any of yall collectors be interested in this phone.

Comments: Recently started collecting. I have several older phones[a Siemens candlestick,a WE 202D (I believe) and a 300 series phone from the '30s or so)]. I enjoy them all, but may need to replace the transmitter for the WE 202D; unfortunately, said transmitter appears to screw into the inside of the handset once the spitcap is removed. The transmitter top appears to have a wiremesh in an annular configuration. I don't even know if this screen is part of the transmitter or just a cover for the transmitter. Any suggestions on how to access. Many thanks.

Comments: I have an old black Kellogg candlestick phone (possibly bs26) that was long ago made into a lamp. It has a green glass shade like the glass from an old banker's or library desk lamp. The two bulbs can be turned on either by 2 separate pull chains or by lifting the receiver. Are there any of you collectors in Southern California (Los Angeles area)that might be interested in viewing this as a possible purchase for your collection? Happy dialing........ HG
